DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES) We are currently seeking a Raw Material Tech in our Stanwood, Michigan location. The Raw Material Tech is responsible for unloading and storing all raw materials that come into the plant. This includes corrugate, labels, caps, film, minerals, preforms, etc. The Raw Material Handler is also responsible for receiving inbound materials into SAP/EWM. This position works a 12 hour shift from 6AM-6:30PM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using a forklift, unload raw materials according to expected goods and production schedule
• Record into SAP/EWM inbound raw material shipments by using proper receiving procedure
• Maintain First In, First Out practices
• Organize and maintain raw material storage areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Organize and maintain recycle trucks for corrugate, plastic, pallets, etc.
• Maintain raw material hold area
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and forklift experience preferred
• Demonstrated attention to safety and performance through a strong safety record and solid performance reviews
• Previous inventory management experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, specifically SAP/EWM, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment
• Must be flexible in hours worked so as to cover peer vacations and absences
• Able to lift 50 or more pounds
• Must meet all requirements of internal job posting guidelines
