PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide direct services to students in need of assistance in learning to read and/or write.REPORTS TO: Building PrincipalRESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Teaches reading and writing that supports classroom instruction to designated students, eitherin small groups or one-to-one.2. Assists teachers with assessments at beginning, middle and end of year or other times as established based on student need.3. Provides leadership in the fields of reading and writing.4.
