Receiver Job at Saint Vincent Hospital
POSITION PURPOSE:
Coordinates shipment and receipt of supply and equipment transactions for the hospital. Responsible for daily activities and functions which includes verifying delivery receipts and packing slips, reconciling shipment discrepancies, maintaining documentation for all inbound and outbound receipts and returns. Basic knowledge of computerized materials management information system. Verifies counts and inputs data for both inventory and direct purchases. Schedules and prioritizes deliveries and planed routes for efficiency.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Able to read, write, and speak English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Movement of pieces averaging 25 lbs. but may exceed 100 lbs. Includes lifting, pulling, and carrying. Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position. For more specifics, refer to the functional job description located in HR.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of receiving and warehouse procedures required. Proven ability to operate a computer.

Valid drivers license, safe driver history.
