Work Hours/Shift: Full Time- Monday true Friday / be flexible whenever is needed in department.

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Identify supplies and routing of packages.
  • Sort supplies for delivery to appropriate destination.
  • Contact vendors as necessary regarding overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Provide documentation when necessary to solve future problems.
  • Process POD’s as required.
  • Manifest delivery tickets with special attention to all surgical departments.
  • Receive, count, and sign for merchandise when necessary.
  • Make sure all refrigerated and frozen items are delivered same day.
  • Check in all AM deliveries and prepare them for delivery to departments before 1:00pm.
  • Maintain flexibility in schedules and work assignment.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:
Required:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various backgrounds.
  • A self-starter that can budget time and activities as needed to accomplish the task at hand.
  • Ability to identify, sort items, count accurately, and use correct unit of measure.
  • Ability to read and write English, with good computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with Hospital departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and organize work.
  • Courteous and able to follow a schedule and instructions.
Preferred:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
Job Summary:
Performs the routine duties of receiving supplies and special packages. Sorts and routes deliveries from the distribution center to their destination. Enter receipts into the computer, produce manifests, and evaluate troubled receipts. Follow-up requests from departments and provide feedback to purchasing. Assist the help line in solving problems. Return goods and repairs as required. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
