Emery | Reddy, PLLC is a boutique law firm seeking an entry-level Intake Specialist in our Downtown Seattle office. We are a thriving firm that specializes in plaintiff litigation in the fields of workers’ compensation, employment law, and injury claims. We are passionate about serving our clients and we enjoy doing it! This position is responsible for answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate person. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, dependability, great attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow with the firm.

Salary: $45,000

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.

Education and Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Associate’s degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • This is an in-person position
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
