Job Description:
As a Receptionist, you will provide administrative and clerical support to a department or organizational unit. This is an on-site position at our Herndon VA headquarters working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Our ideal candidate will have some receptionist experience, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all employees and guests upon arrival and departure
- Ensure all employees and guests receive friendly, courteous, and professional service both in person and on the phone
- Provide access badges and agreements to new employees
- Direct phone calls and email inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Manage company car reservation process
- Handle routine questions
- Performs miscellaneous clerical tasks, such as filing, mailing, faxing, and typing
- Maintain and responds to all ePlus general email box for the Front Lobby
- Scan documents to appropriate personnel
- Embrace and implement new procedures
- Perform other duties, as assigned

Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Requires knowledge of standard office equipment, including software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma
- Previous Receptionist experience required

Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally.
