Eliot's Corporate Office is currently seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to oversee the Eliot Recruitment Department. This position requires a leader, responsible for all aspects of sourcing, hiring,and advertising.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and implement innovative strategies for recruitment and retention of qualified agency staff that employs traditional strategies as well as new and creative ideas.
  • Responsible for overseeing all facets of recruiting throughout the Agency.
  • Monitor performance of assigned staff, conduct performance evaluations, and make recommendations to the Director regarding the hiring, discipline, promotion or dismissal of staff.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement recruitment initiatives with educational, religious, Grassroots, and community organizations to establish consistent sources for employee referrals.
  • Assist in the hiring for startup programs and hard to recruit positions including interviewing as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified pool of interns, volunteers and relief staff.
  • Create and implement recruitment and employment training for staff as needed.
  • Perform administrative and record keeping duties relative to the development of all recruitment marketing tools, internal postings and external advertising, management of employment advertising budget, applicant screening and interviewing and hiring.

Qualifications:

  • BA with minimum 5 years direct experience recruiting for positions at all levels within a behavioral health organization.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resource work. Able to work a flexible work schedule contingent upon agency needs and to travel for recruitment related meetings.
  • Proven relationship building skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge and experience administering Applicant Tracking Systems, solid computer skills and ability to market and promote the agency’s recruiting needs in the social media realm.
