We are a growing 1,500 person with over 50 locations across the United States, and we are searching for an entry level recruiting coordinator to help us find top talent at universities and with 0-5 years of experience. Hazen’s mission is to provide our clients with exceptional service and best value technical solutions for their water management challenges, and this is made possible through our talented and dedicated staff.
Specific tasks may include:
- Organization of career fairs and entry level hiring needs across all offices. Tasks will include coordinating with regional or office staff who register for career fairs; assisting with registration for some career fairs; attending select career fairs as needed; and developing guidance or training for career fair attendees.
- Improving or developing a new entry level candidate database, and developing and implementing strategies to maintain that database. Coordinating communication about entry level candidates across offices and regions.
- Coordination with individual offices and regions, including travel if needed, to understand their hiring needs and work with Hazen’s Young Professionals in the 2–10-year range with existing school relationships and training those people to nurture the school relationships and talent pipelines.
- Identifying candidates from job postings, through universities, and through employee networks
- Direct communication with candidates, including assisting in initial interviews, setting up interviews, and serving as a contact point between the candidate and hiring manager, Young Professionals and Administration Staff to promote open communication
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree, with a marketing focus desirable
- Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal communication
- Highly organized
- Database, data analytics, and dashboarding skills (PowerBI or similar) desirable
- Understanding of Handshake, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft products desirable
- Knowledge of water industry desirable
Salary Range:
$40,000 to $80,000 a year
