Supportive Concepts for Families is currently seeking a Recruitment Specialist.
REFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Two to Four years of experience in Human Resources/Recruitment
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing, documentation, and personnel record keeping skills
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Team Leader
POSITION STATEMENT:
The Recruitment Specialist will:
- Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization.
- Promote the well-being of the human aspect of this organization and report any concerns to the Manager of Human Resources.
- Administer the principles of short and long range planning to anticipate and avoid issues.
- Promote the organization with an image of high professional esteem.
- Utilize the support staff to the best interests of this organization.
- Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, clients and consumers of this organization.
- Be an advocate for all the policies, protocol, labor grades etc. of the organization
- Foster a humane atmosphere within the Human Resource Department as well as the entire organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:
HUMAN RESOURCE OPERATIONS
- RECRUITMENT:
- PROGRAM, FACILITY, AND DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF
- Medical Support Personnel
- Youth Counselors
- Direct Care Staff
- Department/Facilities Supervisors
- Office Support Personnel
- All Other Positions as Needed
- APPLICATION REVIEW, TRACKING and REPORTING
- Track number of applications monthly and report to the Sr. Manager of HR
- Review for accuracy and completeness
- Complete APPLICANT TRACKING DATABASE
- Initial
- INTERNAL CANDIDATES APPLICANTS
- Review the letter
- Review updated resume’
- Pass along to the candidates immediate supervisor for review and approval
- Schedule and conduct interviews
- Make offer
- Perform promotion request
- EXTERNAL CANDIDATES APPLICANTS
- INTERVIEWING
- Conduct brief telephone interview for employability
- Schedule for one-to-one interview
- Use appropriate interview document
- Forward candidate for 2nd or 3rd interviews
- Conduct brief telephone interview for employability
- Conduct on-the-spot interviews Monday through Friday
- Hours – 8am – 4:30pm
- Ensure new hires meet employment requirements

- Conduct first line interviews
- Make recommendation for top candidates to next level management for second interviews or third interviews as required or requested
- Make verbal job offer
- Develop and sign letters of intent to hire
- Approve and sign letters of intent to hire
