Job Summary:

This position ensures the highest standard of client care is provided in keeping with company policy and government regulations. The successful candidate will perform work of a confidential and sensitive nature, requiring discretion, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains mutually beneficial working relationships with all departments throughout the organization.
  • Ensures quality and availability of clinical services by hiring, coaching, developing, and guiding qualified facility-based clinical leaders and their clinical teams.
  • Observes individual and group sessions and services; coaches and provides essential feedback to team members for improvement; develops clinical team members for future programs and services.
  • Reviews and analyzes current program elements; provides feedback for improvement to ensure client satisfaction is high.
  • Ensures appropriate and timely documentation and signoff to ensure all standards are met or exceeded, and financial reimbursements are supported effectively.
  • Develops and oversees establishment of clinical programs in support of system strategies and plans; serves as a resource to Clinical Directors and therapists to connect providers, clients, and families to appropriate clinical resources.
  • Serves as a liaison and partner to help educate communities, providers, clients, and families about adult and/or adolescent mental health and substance use disorders, the role long-term residential and outpatient treatments play for acute, persistent conditions; represents the organization as an ambassador and expert in the field with external stakeholders, partnering agencies, and governmental entities; represents the system in networking with local organizations.
  • Prepares system for accreditation or for-cause surveys by conducting mock surveys to identify areas of improvement and assists to develop a plan of action for any areas of improvement.
  • Assists facilities with any reportable events and investigations, as needed
  • Reviews client and staff complaints; investigates; develops and implements resolution plans in collaboration with Regional management and system risk management leadership
  • Coordinates contracted services (psychological, psychiatric, specialized treatment and community programs).
  • Ensures that cultural, gender-based/gender-identification and diversity practices are infused throughout clinical programming.
  • Provides individual, group and family services along with the documentation of these services, when needed.
  • Reviews department policies, procedures, manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually, and participates in making recommended changes.
  • Regularly reports performance KPIs to Regional and system management
  • Upholds all policies, procedures, regulations and laws to ensure clients' and employee rights are protected.
  • Serves as an example and role model of company values; fosters same across the system.
  • Ensures exceptional client care; retains clients by driving progress and satisfaction through high-quality care. Resolves client and therapist concerns in a timely manner Ensures clients and parents/family members are engaged in and completely satisfied with the services
  • Supports other teams and/or system initiatives by assuming other responsibilities, as practical and supported by Regional management.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Human Services required
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) is a plus.
  • Current State licensure(s) - LCSW, LMFT or LPC along with CACIII
  • Five years of clinical and administrative experience in a hospital or residential setting
  • At least minimum 5 years multi-site clinical management.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple people and projects

Job Type: Full time, Exempt with benefits
