Regional Sales Manager | Eastern Job at Foundation Direct
Foundation Direct is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to enable us to help more customers more quickly. As an RSM, you will develop and manage a pipeline of qualified business opportunities and will be expected to meet or exceed monthly quotas to help the company consistently increase revenue. You have a passion for “the hunt” and “making it rain!” Proven sales track record in Automotive B2B is a MUST. From prospecting to close, Foundation RSMs will tackle cold calling, research and discovery, sales presentations and closings with enthusiasm while collaborating closely with Senior Leadership.

This is a full-time, salaried, remote field position. The ideal RSM candidate is located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone, within a major metro market, and with proximity to a national airport(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must become fully knowledgeable on all company products and solutions within the first 90 days
- Prospect targeted dealerships within assigned territory
- Conduct prospect research and discovery
- Host virtual presentations (25%)
- Present face-to-face sales presentations (75% travel)
- Cold calling
- Calculate accurate/appropriate client budgets and submit client contract proposals
- Create and manage business plan to maximize revenue opportunities
- Meet or exceed assigned, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales quota goals
- Set and manage expectations with new clients
- Participate in continuing education calls and/or meetings on products and services
- Keep up to date on automotive industry, market news and events
- Develop relationships with OEM market representatives
- Must be able to work well as a team player and independently
- Must strive to maintain and uphold all internal processes and procedures
- Must take own initiative to improve tasks and meet company goals
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be detail oriented, punctual and have a professional demeanor
REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BS degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ automotive retail sales experience is required
- Proven sales track record in Automotive is required
- Strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations
- Excellent dealership relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Google
COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes base salary, monthly commission, bonus opportunity, monthly allowances, as well as participation in company benefit offerings including paid vacation, medical, dental, vision, wellness, 401(k), wellness, and more. RSMs who excel in developing and closing new business are generously rewarded.
