Requirements:

• Registered Dental Hygienist License
• Current Florida Driver's license
• Some experience with dental software, especially Dentrix
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of ultrasonic piazon
• Knowledge of laser curettage
• Knowledge of Antimicrobial solutions
• Some knowledge of gingival surgery.
• Great time management skills
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Local Anesthesia License

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oral assessments include reviewing patients' dental history, evaluating gum tissue, teeth, and mouth, oral cancer screening, and dental charting.
• Take, develop, and interpret dental X-rays
• Know how to communicate with patients about oral health and preventive dental education.
• Apply preventive materials (such as sealants, fluorides)
• Document patient's treatment on patient chart.
• Administration of local anesthetic.
• Perform non-surgical periodontal therapy, such as scaling and root planning, and supportive periodontal maintenance care, such as sub-gingival antimicrobial irrigation
• Perform prophylaxis for sealing and polishing teeth
• Other responsibilities according to this post

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour plus bonus
