Registered Dietitian Job at Meadowbrook Acres Nursing Center
As a Dietitian for our company, you will be part of an enthusiastic team that is committed to serving the healthcare needs of individuals, families and communities in our region. Our dietitians work in hospitals, nursing homes and care homes and provide a range of services including individualized consultations with patients and their families, in-service training for staff and client education sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Advise patients on the correct diet to meet their nutritional needs.
- Advise patients on how to make healthy food choices.
- Assess the physical and psychological condition of patients.
- Prepare in-depth reports that assess the nutritional needs of patients.
- Evaluate patients' diets against their medical treatment and determine if changes are needed.
- Design effective nutrition programs for nursing home or assisted living facility residents.
- Create detailed meal plans using nutritional guidelines, recipes, and resources.
- Advise families on the importance of good nutrition.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, PRN
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
