Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health Job at Magnificus Corp.
IMMEDIATE OPENING for a full-time Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health Ingratiation Program ) to support the Boone Clinic, Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities and duties but not limited to:
- Provides mental health clinical management, care coordination and disease management for patients prescribed psychotropic medications by their Primary Care Manager within the care environment.
- Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
- Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
- Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
- Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
- Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience as an RN working in an ambulatory care nurse, with experience providing services such as: psychiatric nursing or behavioral health and wellness counseling, within the last two (2) years.
Licensure/Registration: Current : Full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
