Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled RN to join our Intensive Care Unit team in Charlotte, NC. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients by assessing patient needs, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitoring and interpreting vital signs, performing patient assessments, and providing ongoing evaluation during treatment
- Administering medication, monitoring and responding to adverse reactions
- Coordinating and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Communicating with patients and families regarding patient progress and plan of care
- Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Keeping up-to-date with new developments and innovations in nursing practice and sharing information with colleagues
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Current ACLS and BLS Certification
- Excellent patient bedside manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
