Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital, a full-service, 24hr Emergency and Referral Hospital is growing again! We are currently seeking all shifts at our Akron and Highland Heights locations for experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians, Vet Tech Students and Veterinary Assistants to join our Emergency Room team! As a member of our team, you will enjoy a challenging and rewarding career, while providing the highest quality nursing care, in our technologically advanced facilities!

Communication is key! Through documentation and rounding, you will play an important role in excellent patient care. When triaging patients, your assessment skills and keen sense of prioritizing will shine! When it comes to anesthesia, you can become the “go to” technician for intubation and patient monitoring. Our ultramodern, in-house laboratories make analyzing samples a breeze! If you are detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment, Metropolitan is for you!

The ideal addition to our nursing team will possess:

· State of Ohio Veterinary Technician license; required for RVT's

· A minimum of 1-year Veterinary experience preferred

· Proficiency in calculations (drug, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)

· Flexibility to work hours/shifts to meet the needs of the hospital

· Superb verbal and written communication skills

Wage Range Breakdown

Based on experience

- RVTs, $21-$28/hour
