The Relationship Manager is assigned to a moderately complex book of business and is responsible for ensuring growth, retention and servicing of client relationships and will work in close partnership with the CSM and leader and other integrated business partners. To be successful in this role, the RM II will ensure growth in addition to retention of existing business through deepening relationships with key decision-makers and partners while driving plan outcomes through alignment with best practices in retirement plan design, efficient plan administration, and delivering lifetime income solutions through expanded adoption of the broad array of TIAA products & services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develops and maintains relationships with Retirement & Education Savings clients to understand their business, risks, and opportunities.
Executes and is fully responsible for all account management activities.
Identifies and provides input into new initiatives process/workflow improvements and program/policy changes.
Ensures that all initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
Generates and implements creative or unique solutions to solve problems.
Assists product management and marketing in the development of new products/services.
Maintains and enhances relationships with the decision makers at mid-to large plan sponsors.
Advocates for TIAA as a representative to outside groups and associations.
Works independently and provides leadership to an integrated team.

Base Pay Range: $87,300/yr. - $145,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
