     Job Summary
    
 
    
      The ideal candidate has strong background knowledge in general laboratory maintenance (e.g., buffer preparation, inventories, ordering, mouse colony maintenance, animal handling) and laboratory safety maintenance. The candidate further is able to independently conduct experiments and assays including brain capillary isolations, cell culture experiments, Bradford assays, ELISAs and behavioral assays. In addition the candidate will have managerial duties and will coordinate daily laboratory activities for a smooth and successful flow of experiments.
      
 
     
     
      The person that fills this position will be critical for the successful completion of the proposed work funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH).
