Qualifications:

Required: Master’s degree in Business Administration or in a related technical field and five years of experience in the commercialization of medical devices, or bachelor’s degree and ten years of related experience. Knowledge of various programming languages and their application to hardware interfaces including experience with wireless telemetry for data acquisition and control, and with mechanical rapid prototyping systems. Knowledge of bioimpedance technology, along with circuit design and firmware development, and experience with analog, digital and mixed signal integrated circuit design techniques. Knowledge of wireless communications protocols and related circuit design and implementations in embedded systems including Bluetooth low energy, Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication (NFC). Knowledge of a wide range of engineering skills that include electronic hardware development, embedded software development, mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and testing. Some Knowledge of the concepts of mobile app development, cloud database development and implementations, Agile Design, and manufacturing experience of an electronics product. Ability to apply extensive and advanced principles, theories, and concepts, contribute to the development of solutions to complex problems that require innovation and ingenuity, and create new science and/or technologies that may extend into new applications. Ability to improve quality of life for people with disabilities. Ability to manage projects across multidisciplinary teams including the appropriate application of staff, resources, and budget to project goals and timeliness. Ability to manage multiple tasks, display good decision-making skills and work independently with limited supervision. Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations to document project status and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop embedded software and algorithms specializing in signal processing, data filtration, bio-signal sensing, and activity recognition. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
