The Center for Counseling and Growth is seeking 1-2 motivated and compassionate Residents in Counseling and/or Residents in MFT to join our remote outpatient counseling team. The ideal professionals will work 10-34 (part-time) hours per week providing outpatient mental health counseling services (remotely) to individuals, couples, and families. This is truly a job of service: to our neighbors who are struggling with mental health issues, service to our community, and service to our profession. Job responsibilities will include providing outpatient mental health counseling services (individual, couples, family), completing and submitting clinical documentation in a timely manner, and networking with our community partners.
All applicants must intend to apply to the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Resident in Counseling or Resident in MFT (and work toward Virginia licensure as an LPC or LMFT). Since our business is located in Virginia and our clients reside in Virginia, all of our clinicians must be approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling before they may provide remote clinical mental health counseling services.
In addition, applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in CMHC, MFT, or similar degree. Competitive hourly rates (commensurate with experience) and free individual and group supervision provided to all Residents who are seeking Virginia Board licensure as an LPC or LMFT. HIPAA compliant web-based telehealth portal, billing, and scheduling of clients provided at no cost to therapist. All applicants must have a minimum of one year of post-Masters clinical experience.
