SUMMARY:
The Resident Relations Coordinator is responsible maintaining professional relationships with residents, The Pelham Learning Center staff, Pelham staff, and the Framingham Police Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Serve as a liaison between the management of Pelham Apartments, Maintenance staff, the Framingham Housing Authority, and the Framingham Police Department.
  • Lease enforcement duties include but are not limited to: Identifying community policy and lease violations by reviewing daily police logs, property walk inspections, and meeting with residents. Address issues by reporting to management, conferencing residents, sending letters, and starting eviction process, etc.
  • Maintain communication with Framingham Police (Sub-Station) officers to help identify high profile suspicious areas for surveillance and details.
  • Working with the Maintenance Manager to schedule and notify residents about miscellaneous maintenance repairs and inspections.
  • Work in collaboration with the Learning Center Director, sharing community information, attend resident outings, help support special events and provide feedback.
  • Assist with conducting live in/vacant apartment inspections when necessary.
  • Serve as the initial contact for walk-ins and connect residents/applicants to the appropriate staff person (if necessary).
  • Answer the office telephone and handle most inquiries from residents, prospective residents, contractors, business associates, and member of the Braintree office.
  • Oversee the Pest Management services for the property by communicating with the Exterminators and providing the necessary notices to residents.
  • Coordinating and maintain records of reasonable accommodation requests, writing and maintaining incident reports, scan/enter rent payments, and any other duties as needed to assist the administrative office as directed by the Asst. Property Manager / Property Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience. Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, strong communication skills, and effectively work with a diverse population in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Office products.
