Residential Care Worker (15 AVL) Job at Clemson University
Assists the Residential Care Worker Aides, Director and Assistant Director at the New Horizons Family Center to provide 24/7 care and supervision of participants in the NHFC program.
JOB DUTIES:
55% - Essential - Provide 24-hour care and supervision for residents and their children at the New Horizons Family Center Program. Live in the quarters with three teen mothers and their children. Provide childcare during the mother's absence.
15% - Essential - Participate in recreational and developmental treatment activities for residents and their children. Provide transportation to and from school, appointments and all other scheduled activities. Responsible for working with the Coordinator and Instructors in scheduling appointments for mother and child outside of routine medical visits.
15% - Essential - Assist in and teach the mothers meal preparation, food nutrition, and meal planning on a budget for participants in the program. Conduct instructional sessions with residents on parenting and life skills.
15% - Essential - Participate in development, implementation and documentation of the treatment plan for each mother and child. Attend to the personal, health, and behavioral needs of the residents. Provide medication and keep accurate records in the medication log as well as other documentation. All other duties as assigned by the Director/Coordinator.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hrs: 40; $7.25-$12.00 p/hour
