RTX Executive Leadership Talent & Learning Leader
This position directly reports into the Vice President for RTX Global Talent Management, Learning and Development. This role leads a small team responsible for integrating our talent resources to include talent identification, assessment, coaching, development and directed movement to support leaders develop new ways of approaching their work to be successful. This position works in close partnership with peers across Raytheon Technologies communities of expertise, HR professionals and employees at all levels of the company.
Additionally, our corporate team reimagines how leaders are supported across Raytheon Technologies (RTX). At RTX, we believe all employees are leaders and require new capabilities at several key transitions in their careers. This role is responsible for supporting executives through the most senior of these transitions in RTX – leaders of organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage people in addition to your own individual contributor responsibilities to create and deliver holistic development interventions for leaders across RTX businesses and global locations that improve leader effectiveness, employee engagement and retention.
- Create and execute a long-term strategy for Leaders of Organizations, based on extensive data resources (workforce demographics, trends, shifts, employee pulse, exit surveys), solicitated input across the businesses/regions, engagement with leaders at multiple levels across RTX, and deep expertise in industry trends and practices.
- Regularly interacts with Leaders from across RTX both within and outside HR to understand their needs and influence towards a common RTX practice or approach. Accountable for supplier selection, negotiation, cost, and performance management.
- Aligns work within team to considering how to expand team members’ development and insight beyond a given program/process as well as mitigate single risks of failure.
- Partners across peers to align practices within common solutions and frameworks that span across all levels of leadership.
- Operate as an accomplished leader within the learning, development and/or talent management domain with established credibility in developing and driving successful outcomes by exercising the following attributes:

Required Qualifications:
- Requires expert knowledge of multiple work areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
The salary range for this role is $129,000.00 to $265,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
