Note: Will be w orking on Loan Originations Project. Team size: About 10 – one of the teams in the Loan Originations channel
Interview process: 1 technical interview via MS Teams, followed by decision
Position Description : Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our Digital team. You'll work with our design and engineering teams to design and develop new features on our consumer facing website. The ideal candidate understands how to balance a desire for perfectionism with the need for pragmatism. You will integrate with and leverage our existing systems as you help build longer lasting and more scalable solutions from scratch.
- Design and develop new features using Ruby on Rails.
- Design and develop APIs for affiliate integrations.
- Write automated tests and test infrastructure to support it.
- Troubleshoot production issues and research solutions to customer feedback.
- Keep up to date with ruby and rails design patterns.
Required Skills
- Designing and developing new web applications.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
- Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code. Integrating data storage solutions.
- Creating back-end components.
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
- Connecting applications with additional web servers.
- Maintain APIs accordingly.
Desired Skills (not required)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, it can be computer science, or any other field related to Information technology to know the basics of computer programming.
- Financial industry exp.
