PLEASE NOTE: This is a 1 month contract-to-hire opening and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.

Description: Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing the Senior Web Manager is a 12+ month contract position responsible for the management, continuous improvement, and optimization of our PinnacleCare (a Sun Life company) web properties.

You’ll work closely with marketing stakeholders and content creators, business unit stakeholders, and vendors to manage and maintain the web properties, as well as support and lead strategic projects and new feature development and releases.

This role requires a high degree of professionalism, collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous experience managing and maintaining WordPress sites is required.

· Proactive website management: Proactive Client-centric and data-driven site management and maintenance of PinnacleCare web properties – this includes roadmap and strategy management and execution, content and transaction management, feature development, bug triage, quarterly website health reports, domain name and vanity URL portfolio management.

· Continuous improvement: Leverage client feedback, SEO, analytics, publishing, onsite search, and web accessibility tools to analyze data and pull key insights. Use those insights to proactively improve our marketing websites by recommending content improvements, features, and enhancements. Work closely with teams of experts and agencies to manage the site, including SEO, Designers, Content Writers, Publishers, UX and IT. Evaluate performance against business objectives and make recommendations for improvement.

· Backlog and content management: Manage all requests for updates or additions to the website. Review, analyze and prioritize requests. Provide consultation to ensure the right problem is solved, business cases and objectives are defined, guidelines and best practices are followed, and a client-centric/data-driven approach is taken.

· Vendor management: Work with our hosting and development agency to implement security enhancements, new features, and content updates. Support and lead special projects and manage our agency contract and budget.

· Strategic projects: Lead and support strategic web projects including content and webpage audits, CMS migrations, new technology integrations, and analytics and reporting updates. Strategic projects may also include initiatives to help modernize PinnacleCare websites.

· Solid understanding of all aspects of digital marketing (UX, Data analytics, SEO, SEM, Paid Media, Social Media, Websites, Mobile Apps, etc.), and how a website integrates into the overall marketing strategy.

· Strong consulting abilities; make digital recommendations that meets Client needs and expectations, while supporting business needs/goals.

· Deep understanding of measurement and how to interpret data to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively, develop solid relationships, manage differences, and influence change.

· Strong, innovative problem-solving skills and excellent analytical abilities; familiar with design thinking, zero based design techniques or similar.

Experience and Education:

· Bachelor’s or advanced degree/training in Business, Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience achieving desired outcomes in digital marketing including website management and project delivery. B2B digital marketing an asset.

· Experience managing and maintaining WordPress websites.

· Solid understanding of digital channels: web, mobile, email, text, search and social.

· Experience working with web design and development agencies.

· Direct experience managing client relationships and consulting on digital solutions to meet business needs/goals.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and trends, including SEO and web accessibility.

· Strong understanding of digital analytics, metrics, voice of the customer research with the ability to interpret to make key decisions; advanced proficiency with web reporting and analytics tools.

· Good understanding of HTML and CSS and experience working in WordPress content management systems.

· Advanced proficiency with standard business software.
