Duties and Responsibilities


Essential Functions:

  • Receive new and updated contracts from customers and maintain contract history and pricing in required customer and Mubea database systems.
  • Manage contract changes internally and communicate necessary details and/or actions to stakeholders (KAMs, BU, Plant, Controlling).
  • Monitor and maintain customer portals for contract changes, notifications, process changes, volume change requests, etc. Communicate required actions internally and follow up as needed to ensure complete and timely responses.
  • Prepare customer required commercial documentation (quotation letters, customer breakdowns, etc.).
  • Manage steel pricing activities internally to provide and enter updated pricing in a timely manner for the BU and plant.
  • Enter data required for annual budget and mid-term planning. Prepare reporting for each BU and reconcile data with KAM and BU responsible persons.
  • Prepare and maintain price tracking log or dBase for all products.
  • Prepare and maintain prototype and tool tracking logs. Attend meetings (APQP) with Engineering, Plant and Development as needed to ensure on time delivery and prompt invoicing.
  • Prepare and maintain Sales related reporting as needed.
  • Support of A/R department for customer follow up issues and payment resolution of overdue.
  • Support KAM function with all other reasonable requests to fulfill the commercial requirements of the customers.
  • Communicate as needed directly with customer to gather necessary information and/or inform on progress of requested activities.

Qualifications


Required Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years automotive sales administration experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly proficient in Email software, Internet software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Knowledge of SAP (Sales and Distribution Module)/XPPS computer systems and OEM portals.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven businesses
  • Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
