Opportunity Summary:
Upland Software is in search of an experienced Business Analyst to help the Go-to-Market teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) define, decipher, and provide actionable insights on key performance metrics via reporting and analytics. This role will also monitor and analyze our overall data quality and health. Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on our data and how to report on it from Salesforce using native Salesforce reporting, Power BI, and Excel.
- Create, maintain, and enhance reporting and dashboards for GtM teams empowering functional leaders to make data driven decisions across the entire customer lifecycle and helping to drive performance, accountability, and process improvement within their respective teams.
- Work as a business partner to the GtM teams. Summarize and communicate findings and analytical results to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
- Work with the Salesforce developer teams and revenue teams to identify opportunities to improve our infrastructure and processes.
- Work with GtM and operational teams to optimize data hygiene in Salesforce.
- Build and maintain reporting to monitor data health and work with orders and salesforce teams to correct errors, identify root causes, and design processes to prevent future defects
Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Data Analytics, or Operations at a SaaS company
- 2-4 years of analyst experience in a revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations role
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce reporting platform
- Demonstrable success as a data analyst and understanding of reporting and data modeling in relational databases
- Expert Excel skills, including experience translating large amounts of raw data into actionable intelligence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective working both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and balance ad hoc reporting requests with larger projects.
- Highly motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for learning, problem-solving, and customer service.
- Proactive in searching for opportunities to improve and streamline processes using data, technology, and common sense.
