What you’ll be doing…

No matter the position, every member of our team is critical in delivering our mission. As a Sales Representative, you will partner with both mid-level and high profile customers in grocery stores, bakeries, delis and convenience stores to secure profitable sales in your territory. You will partner with customers to market Lipari products and services, collect orders and process credits, and ultimately ensure our retail partners, as well as Lipari, are successful. Given the importance of the partnerships with our customers, you will be consistently visiting customer locations across your territory so you need to have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and acceptable driving record.

You are if you’ve got a professional leadership presence with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers excites you, and you have a bit of a competitive edge to grow accounts with a can do attitude. You will be your customers’ partner and the source for order collection, as well as managing the pricing analysis. If you are looking for variety, not being tied down to an office and strong desire to grow the business as well as your career, this could be the fit you are looking for!

You will also need to have:

  • Experience with direct sales to designated customers including retailers, delis, bakeries, convenience stores, etc.
  • Ability to market and present new items, programs and other ‘value-add’ services to customers
  • Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and standard email applications
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English

Please note, this position does require a significant amount of territorial travel, regional sales meetings and other sales specific events.
