Saw Operator Job at Dixie Pulp & Paper
Primary Responsibilities
We are in need of operators for 1st and 2nd shift.
Operating Paper Saw including:
· Sawing rolls of paper down to specific sizes.
· Operating saw according to Dixie's safety policies.
· Maintaining saw by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; securing all guards.
· Resolving production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional instructions if needed.
· Ensuring operation of equipment by helping in the completion of preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
*Following all required safety guidelines to operate the machine*
