Scrub Technician- Part Time

The Center for Outpatient Surgery on behalf of The Plastic Surgery Center is the largest private Plastic and Reconstructive surgery practice in NJ and is distinguished by the outstanding training and backgrounds of our top plastic surgeons. Between them, our team of doctors has more than 100 years of combined experience performing cosmetic surgery of the face, skin, and body. In addition to common cosmetic plastic surgery, we offer advanced reconstructive procedures and have developed a number of innovative surgical techniques offered at few other facilities in the world for complex conditions, diseases and traumatic injuries.

The Center for Outpatient Surgery is looking for a part time Scrub Technician to join our team.

Our ideal candidate is must be able to work with a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. They must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up the operating room prior to surgery
• Stocking surgical supplies
• Checking surgical machines and equipment
• Passing instruments to surgeons during surgery
• Assist with minor medical procedure Qualifications:
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• You must meet the NJ requirements under the Surgical Technologist law to be considered for this opportunity
• BLS is required
• No experience needed, willing to train
• Must be certified (CST) certified scrub technician
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program and a Certified Surgical Tech
• National certification is preferred
• Must be self-starter who works well independently
• Time management and prioritizing skills a must
• Ability to multi task
