Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full-time, Security and Transportation Services Manager, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Summary

  • Overview: The Security and Transportation Services Manager (STSM) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Security and Transportation services for Sacred Circle Healthcare’s (SCHC) multiple locations (work hours, appropriate allocation of staff, priorities, specific patient/department/customer needs). The position ensures the transportation and security areas observe professional ethics, high customer service levels and overall safety for patients, visitors, and employees of SCHC. The ideal candidate will instruct various training opportunities that foster secure practices established by company policies/procedures/ performance standards in alignment with industry regulations.

  • Work Schedule: To Be Determined with the availability of 6:30 am – 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

The successful candidate:

  • Assists administration in developing and implementing department policies and procedures and assures operational/customer service standards are created, implemented, and monitored.
  • Collaborates with department managers to determine security needs.
  • Plans and implements comprehensive security strategies.
  • Responsible for monitoring security cameras and footage.
  • Fosters a cohesive team atmosphere.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains and manages company fleet.
  • Coordinates transportation schedule and ensures patients are transported safely to and from the clinic.
  • Coordinates responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports.
  • Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
  • Models and encourages high customer service levels, treating patients with courtesy and respect.
  • Maintains vehicle maintenance, safety and reports any vehicles issues including accidents, immediately.
  • Ensures patients have transportation and application waiver completed.
  • Completes accurate employee evaluations in accordance with company expectations
  • Instructs team members on best practices relative to their area of assignment
  • Assist Transportation and Security when additional personnel is needed.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling for transportation and security.
  • Abide by all clinic policies and procedures
  • Abide by clinic code of conduct.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED.
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • 3-5 years’ experience in security
    • 3-5 years managing a team.
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Must have a valid driver's license
  • Provider current driving record from the DMV.
  • Other: Must be at least 18 years of age with at least 1 year of driving.

Preferred Requirements:
  • EDUCATION: BA / BS preferred
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • Three to five years of security experience in a high patient/guest contact environment.
    • Three to five years of transportation experience in a high patient/guest contact environment.
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
    • Industry-prescribed security training, licensing, and registration.

  • Knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
  • Knowledge of security industry protocols.
  • Polished and professional demeanor and approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain calm and keep composure during high-stress situations
  • Ability to work with changing deadlines and priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven ability to motivate a team.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of employees
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient Computer skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to use good judgment when addressing a given problem, followed by creative solutions and initiative to complete work.
  • Strong knowledge of standard safety protocols
