Description: The Willis-Knighton Pierremont Security Department is seeking an individual to join our team as a Security Officer. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Actively welcoming all patients, visitors and staff; providing assistance to and from parking areas; patrolling buildings and grounds; inspecting doors, windows and locks to determine if all are secured; conducting routine checks on main hospital floors/clinics and signs logs as appropriate; ensuring unwelcome visitors or unauthorized personnel are escorted off campus in a timely manner, documents and investigates incident reports; responding to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly or combative patients/visitors; regulating and assisting with traffic control, issuing parking tickets; providing support and assistance for Air Rescue, and coordinating traffic flow through the ER driveway. The candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in security or law enforcement, must have a high school graduate or GED, and must possess a valid driver's license and have computer experience.
