The Opportunity

The Credit Card Fraud Strategy Team, which protects Ally and its Credit Card customers from fraud threats, is hiring for a Senior Analyst role focused on investigations. This person will be a critical and hands-on member of the team, reviewing suspicious applications and transactions for potential fraud. This person will use analytical skills, critical thinking, & curiosity to review and decide the outcome for suspicious applications and account activity. They will help identify trends and links across fraud attacks and work to improve fraud defenses, deliver on our fraud financial goals, and create seamless experiences for non-fraudulent customers.

The Work Itself

  • Review applications and transactions for risk and make decisions to optimize profitability
  • Review fraud claims decisions and outcomes to ensure fraud claims are being investigated and decisioned properly
  • Support development of policies and procedures to reduce fraud risk

The Skills You Bring

  • 1+ year of experience in fraud, anti-money laundering or risk-related field
  • Bachelors Degree preferred of 2-3 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Curiosity, analytical mindset and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to independently manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
