Summary of the Job:
As a member of our Brand and Creative vertical within Enterprise Marketing, the Senior Brand Associate will bring the FNBO brand strategy to life by implementing our brand presence across multiple channels to deliver integrated marketing solutions based on business goals. He or she will take ownership of the FNBO brand creative as it appears on fnbo.com, including leading the development and management of new rich media libraries and oversight of online directories externally. Internally, this individual will lead the communication strategy, management and oversight of the new FNBO Brand Portal to drive consistency across the bank, keeping employees informed of our brand in the marketplace, manage a content calendar and creative with marketing leadership for our internal brand blog and provide continuous engagement of the FNBO brand with our employees. This individual will lead advocacy for adherence of our FNBO brand standard internally and externally and encourage employees to “live the brand”.
About This Role:
In collaboration with our Senior Brand Manager and cross-functional partners, this role will lead and implement various marketing initiatives and special projects to express the FNBO brand and build consistent adoption and utilization of the FNBO brand across functional areas and external channels.
In this role, you have the opportunity to:
- Develop and deploy inspirational and informative branded content for internal and external stakeholder awareness, usage, engagement and ambassadorship.
- Build and strengthen our brand presence online through owned channels and online directories.
- Build and strengthen our brand adoption through implementation of various communication strategies, including leadership and partner road shows.
- Lead and implement communication strategies for ongoing development and engagement with the FNBO Brand Portal.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging among various audiences and channels across our multi-state market footprint.
- Maintain strong brand integrity across all Enterprise Marketing initiatives and communications, including master brand standards and portfolio of products and capabilities offered by FNBO.

Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing leadership team and internal stakeholders to lead, manage and implement FNBO brand marketing efforts to acquire new customers and retain and grow relationships with existing customers. Oversee multi-faceted, high visibility branding projects, serving as project leader with internal stakeholders in development and implementation of brand creative associations in line with business goals.
Lead, develop and maintain new FNBO Brand Portal and online standards based on knowledge of industry best practices and emerging strategies to ensure brand marketing is effective at achieving our business goals.
BSA Compliance: Understand and comply with FNBO’s BSA/AML Program, which includes, but is not limited to the following: (Ongoing)
- Comply with FNBO Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence Policy
- Identify, monitor and report suspicious activity
- Complete BSA/AML training in a timely manner as directed by management
- Understand and adhere to all bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role
- Report all Compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in the FNBO Compliance Accountability Program

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience
- 5+ years in branding, marketing, advertising, retail banking, agency or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or demonstrated experience in marketing-related field.
- Understanding of brands, branding, creative and marketing mix.
- Ability to craft communication strategy, planning and execution.
- Knowledge of MS SharePoint, HTML Living Standard website design and development, web coding basics a plus.
- Ability to work and communicate in team setting, while managing time and multiple projects independently and proactively.
- Inclination to take initiative to solve problems – perseverance and determination.
- Appreciates fast-paced environment with high tolerance for change.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, passionate for the work and can-do attitude.
