Talent One Recruiting & Staffing is currently looking for a Senior Cost Accountant candidate for a manufacturing company located in the city of Vernon.
Candidates will be responsible for performing all activities of General/Cost Accounting functions
Job type: Full time (O.T & Weekends as needed)
Salary: 115k - 125k (D.O.E)
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs general accounting activities such as Journal entries & account reconciliations.
- Preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts
- Responsible for all cost accounting arenas including Standard cost roll, multi-level bills of materials, direct & indirect labor, overhead rates & absorption, and product cost development.
- Preparation of analytical reports regarding Costs, spend & variances.
- Analyzes manufacturing operations & equipment availability
- Establish, monitor & enforces policies and procedures
- Overseeing annual physical inventory
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in General and Cost Accounting (Food manufacturing preferred).
- ERP system (SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced experience in EXCEL and ACCESS.
