• Create a future-looking design for our embedded software platform.
• Work across hardware, software, and product disciplines to define product requirements.
• Develop a software with a focus on security, performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Build software engineering processes to take us from design to post-production.
• Lead our growing team by demonstrating ownership and providing mentorship.

• Significant experience developing and releasing production-quality embedded software.
• Outstanding proficiency in C/C++, ideally in a resource-constrained, real-time operating system.
• Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols such as TCP/IP and MQTT.
• Experience testing and debugging on MCU core architectures such as ARM Cortex and MicroBlaze.
• Familiarity with secure boot, device authentication, and other embedded security issues.
• 5+ years in an embedded software development role; 3+ years with leadership responsibilities.

• Experience with Rust, Go, and other modern language stacks.
• Familiarity with local and serial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, SPI, and I2C.
• Experience with wireless technologies such as 802.11x and Bluetooth.
• Understanding of digital signal processing.
• Experience building for a variety of environments, including industrial, residential, and automotive.
• Understanding of design for manufacturing, quality control, and FMEA.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, document decisions and designs, and create test plans.

Education:

Required Education:

• 5+ years in an embedded software development role; 3+ years with leadership responsibilities.
