Senior Program Operations Manager Job at Valiant Integrated Services
Responsibilities:
The Senior Operations Manager oversees and manages projects, and is responsible for planning, monitoring
projects. Responsible for co-ordination and completion of the projects and will perform a variety of tasks
including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress of the projects,
setting, and following budgets, making HR decisions, and other project management-related tasks.
Location:
- Africa 50% of the time and 50% in Washington, D.C.
- Must have a degree in business administration or finance.
- Must have the ability to analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information.
- Must have excellent supervisory, organizational, and training skills, skill in project development and execution, skill in coordinating activities, evaluating data, and establishing priorities
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal English is necessary
- Must be proficient in Word, MS Office suite of programs.
- Must be able to analyze problems and make well-reasoned, sound decisions.
- Must be highly capable of interacting confidently with senior management and customers.
- Candidate should have 5-10 years management experience with and a
demonstrated history of managing direct reports leading a large organization. - Must have experience working on capacity building programs, training and equip projects and construction projects in East and West Africa.
- Extensive travel throughout East and West Africa required and may need to spend time at remote sites.
