Longbridge is excited to be adding to our Houston Servicing team. We are currently recruiting for a REO ( Real Estate Owned ) Specialist. This role will be in either our Houston, TX or Mahwah, NJ office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm CST.
The REO Specialist II is responsible for the day-to-day work between LBF and its sub-servicers and vendors ensuring the subservicer is operating in a manner that is consistent with LBF’s legal and regulatory obligations, contractual requirements, and performance expectations.
Primary Job Duties:
- Handle the oversight of loans in REO status.
- Review reports and work queues to manage HUD curtailment timelines.
- Work closely with subservicer and its vendor in oversight of REO timelines and marketing of properties to ensure compliance.
- Escalate issues to the subservicer and attorneys to avoid controllable delays.
- Accurately depict responsible party for missed servicing milestones.
- Documents all servicing activities, actions taken, delays, follow ups and phone conversations.
- Analyze and chase subservicers requests for documents.
- Highschool diploma or Equivalent
- 2-5 years Reverse Mortgage REO management required
- Understanding of the entire REO process
- Experience with BKFS, Tempo, ReverseServ, HERMIT, LRES
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
