The newly developed Village Kitchen restaurant at Hartness in Greenville, South Carolina is actively searching for friendly and professional service staff to join their team.

Hourly Pay Range: $12-30/hr (including tips)

Both part and full time positions available.

Job Summary:

• Greet and direct guests in accordance with company service standards.
• Assist service staff with the initial setup of guest seating, ensuring proper place settings are available, and ensuring guests are comfortable.
• As food dishes are prepared and become available in the kitchen, coordinate with service staff to assist bringing food from the kitchen to the guest table.
• Act as a liaison to all servers, working between the front of house and back of house to bring items to guest tables, such as a requests for additional condiments.
• Clear guest tables of used table setting items such as silverware, used glassware and dishes, etc.
• Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly. Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.

Required Experience:

• 
  16+ years of age
• This is an entry level position with no prior experience in restaurants needed. We will train for the right candidates with positive work ethic.
• Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e. town festivals).
• May be subject to successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.
