Job Description - Waiter/Waitress

Our restaurant is looking for a waiter/waitress with remarkable hard skills and engaging people skills. The right person for this job should be able to multitask food and beverage orders and deliveries, but not only that. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent guest service, which is why we are looking for a waiter/waitress who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract members.

Looking for self motivated individuals with the ability to multitask. Sundays and Mondays off. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, fast learner, and has basic restaurant skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

• Pay: $7.25 per hour plus tips Restaurant type:

• 6 hour shift
• 4pm to 10 pm Weekly day range:
• Tuesday to Saturday Experience:
• Restaurant Serving Experience Preferred
• Bar Card (optional) Responsibilities
• Greets all guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to communicate with guests, team members and managers.
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Taking and delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Processing guest orders and payments
• Completes prep work and cleaning duties before, during and after shifts.
• Performs duties delegated by manager or supervisors.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.

Qualifications

• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and perform cleaning duties.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
