Service Writer/Shop Admin Job at Navajo Express
Overall Objective: Responsible for general office duties of the Maintenance Shop office, including but not limited to , Service writing of all repairs in the shop, filing, data entry, coding of repair orders, updating EMS system after work completed, etc., in a timely manner to insure accurate reporting to Fleet supervisors
Working Relationship: Reports to Shop Supervisor
Responsibilities:
· Enter into EMS system all PM work
· Update truck files with work completed
· Create new files as equipment is added to the fleet
· Report weekly PM needs to the Vice President of Maintenance and to Shop Supervisor to insure work is being completed in a timely manner
· Research proof of truck and trailer repairs for DOT compliance and coordinate with Safety Department for accuracy of files
· Other office duties as assigned
Education: High School or equivalent
Training or Skills Needed: basic office skills, data entry, filing, understanding of transportation a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
