Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job at Hotel AKA Brickell
- Receives, counts and checks condition of items received, and documents any apparent mishandling. Informs couriers service and documents mishandling information. Immediately deliveries guests package to their room shown in the system. Inputs message for guests package deliveries into system when guest is not in the room. Prioritize guests needs when requesting a particular package and delivers immediately. Prepares written note showing intent to deliver package when DND sign is on.
- Assist guest and group functions in the preparation, handling and shipping and receiving of all parcels which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item. Maintain shipping records.
- Monitor the grades and quality of products received to ensure that they meet the hotel's established standards.
- Receives and places food and beverage in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner. Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order. Rotates perishable stock so that all food items and beverage are fresh.
- Issues and delivers food and beverage to each outlet. Prepares requisitions which may involve weighing, counting and verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals.
