Shipping Inventory Clerk Job at VALDESE WEAVERS LLC
Job Summary:
Prepare shipping documents and process small parcel shipments. Assist the Shipping Coordinator with other shipping job functions.
Essential Functions:
Group SAP shipping documents for rolls that are shipping UPS or Fedex
Prepare shipment via the UPS or Fedex portal
Obtain tickets and prepare packing slips for shipment
Ensure labels and packing slips match rolls for shipment and label accordingly
Email forwarders for carrier instructions for pickup
Coordinate with floor personnel for shipments that require special handling, packaging and palletization.
Prepare end of day reports for UPS and Fedex
Monitor inventory reports and ensure proper reconciliation occurs, postings, deliveries, multiple locations
Perform daily empty tube cycle counts
Assist with department physical inventories
Print and apply special customer labels, ex: Steelcase and Ballard
Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
