Shipping and Receiving Associate/ Driver (Warehouse FT - PT Position)-CHINO
APA (Auto Parts Avenue) is a privately held corporation specializing in distributing aftermarket auto parts in the e-commerce marketplaces. Currently located in Chino, California, the company’s headquarters houses its Administration, Shipping & Receiving, and Customer Service Department.

We are looking for a candidate to assist us in our Shipping & Receiving Department. The ideal candidate should possess one or more years of previous Warehouse/ Shipping experience. Basic duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the follow description below:

Job Description:

• Completing picking, checking, auditing, sorting, over-packing, consolidating, and staging orders daily in the warehouse.
• As a Shipping/ Receiving Associate, you will receive incoming materials, products or supplies. Counts items received and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies or damages.
• Ships outgoing online orders. Counts items shipped and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies.
• Unloading Containers
• Build pallets with orders, shrink wrap and position them to be loaded on carrier trucks
• SHIFT: Monday – Friday - Morning Shift 8am to 1pm (Part-Time) Afternoon Shift 12pm to 5pm (Part-Time)
• SHIFT: Monday – Friday - 8am to 5pm (Full-Time)

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a non-conditioned space, so the area is subject to both heat and cold in the warehouse.
• The warehouse process is constantly moving; attention to detail and safety are of the utmost importance.
• Noise level is moderate in the warehouse.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing lifting, pushing, pulling ... ect.) NOTE: Lift up to 50lbs but understand that most items will weigh less than 25lbs.
• Perform basic computer work; including typing
• Stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• One (1) year warehouse/packaging experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Good written communication skills
• Must have Clean Driving Record
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
