Job Purpose: To receive incoming materials, log receipts, and maintain inventory and to ship materials to various departments, vendors, or customers.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: 1 -2 years previous manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures as they relate to inventory, shipping & receiving.
- Skills & Abilities: Must have or be able to obtain for Fork Lift Truck operators license within 30 days of assignment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
- Receives, enters into the computer system and produces labels for incoming raw material and component parts used in the manufacturing process. Receives and distributes to the appropriate person or department, supplies, tooling materials, office supplies, etc.
- Receives finished goods from the manufacturing area, enters into the computer system, and maintains the inventories for finished product and component parts. Reports discrepancies for correction by supervisor. Maintains stocks in good condition and reports any damage.
- Coordinates daily shipments to customers & outside vendors, as directed. Prepares packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels and obtains any quality documents required by customers to accompany shipments. Notifies appropriate personnel of any product requiring inspection prior to shipment and secures signatures for proof of compliance.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Training Requirements: New Hire Orientation, Hi-Lo Operator Licensing, PPE

Physical Demands:
- Requires standing for long periods of time and some walking (up to 7 hours).
- Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls,
- Requires lifting up to 10 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs,
- Requires exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable,
