We are looking for a flexible, dependable, and friendly individual with great customer service skills to join our team.

Summary of Position:

As Shop Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the Shop. You will create an environment where excellent customer service is the norm. Motivates the staff to see the business through the eyes of the customer and always puts servingthe customer first. Delegates projects and daily duties ensuring satisfactory completion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act with integrity and uphold our core values.
• Manage day to day operations of the BiG Shop
• Coordinate with vendors and order all supplies and merchandise
• Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching staff members.
• Achieve financial objectives, analyzing operating and financial statements.
• Ensure availability of merchandise and services, maintaining inventories.
• Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
• Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Look after the safety of customers, citizens, and staff, ensuring a safe working and shopping environment.
• Shop open 9:00-6:00, closed Sundays

Job Abilities

• Possess a strong retail background. Prefer one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess above-average interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with co-workers and customers at all levels with BiG. The incumbent must have good oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to meet the public.
