Snooze Executive Chef | Denver International Airport Job at Skyport Hospitality
Snooze is looking for a creative and energetic culinary artist that is proficient in all aspects of food preparation, Executive Chef! You will train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques, and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation. You will oversee the delivery of food supplies, prepare special dishes, and supervise overall kitchen operations during dinner service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees back-of-house operations
- Hires, trains, and manages kitchen staff
- Determines plating and presentation plans
- Orders and evaluates the quality of new food
- Stocks the kitchen with necessary supplies
- Helps with financial planning and budgeting
- Makes sure the kitchen staff follows all food safety laws
- Sets and implements the kitchen policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
- Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check
- Ability to educate team on basic food practices
- 3+ years of culinary leadership
- Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
- Proficient knowledge of human resources management
- Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering, and inventory
- Excellent communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and some hazardous equipment.
