HCC/KPM located in Ford City, PA a leading international machine manufacturer, building and remanufacturing roll grinders and lathes used in the aluminum, steel and paper industry, is seeking to employ:
HCC/KPM is in need of a Control Software Engineer/Programmer who is a motivated individual to develop and install software for large factory systems.
Duties and responsibilities include:
§ Convert machine specifications to PLC-based control systems
§ Install and finalize software at customer site (travel when necessary)
§ Help develop new products and features
§ Travel to customer sites
§ Travel to Germany for training
Qualifications required:
§ Experience in modern PLC programming
§ Motion control/process control knowledge
§ Understanding of electrical/electronic systems and servo motion control
§ Excellent data analysis skills
§ Strong written and verbal skills
§ Ability to troubleshoot and debug
§ Knowledge of control systems and experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain
§ Familiar with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of AC and DC drives.
