This new position within the COG I.T. Department will consolidate some support and training services as well as add some resources for supporting our existing I.T. infrastructure. This position’s primary duties would include supporting our software systems, providing specific training, taking tech support calls, and cross-training on hardware and network infrastructure support.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Software Administrative duties would include:
  • Learning existing systems and becoming a Super-User.
  • Receiving Vendor Administrator training on any new software systems installed.
  • Adding/deleting/modifying new users.
  • Taking technical support calls.
  • Providing configuration services for Clinic and unique physician functions.
  • Working with vendors on technical support issues, opening and following up on service tickets.
  • Working hands-on with employees and Physicians on resolving tech support, or setup issues.
• Training duties would include:
  • Training new and existing employees and Physicians on our software systems.
  • Coordinating with other Departments on their specific roles and training requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining training curriculum.
  • Cross training employees that move between Departments.
• Technical support duties would include:
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Upgrading software and hardware systems with new versions and firmware.
  • Opening tickets with vendors on software and hardware issues.
  • Maintaining existing and future networking hardware systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation on system configuration and usage.
