KenCrest is a leading Provider of 0-5 Early Intervention Services throughout the Southeast Region. We are committed to providing quality services to children and families.
Currently, we are seeking Special Instructors with experience collaborating with teachers in childcare / early learning centers to support our KenCrest SWIFT Support Program. This program is designed to promote a child’s success in an Early Learning classroom by partnering with the center’s teachers, supporting children up to age 5. The Special Instructors we are seeking will be part of a team of childhood specialists that provide short term support, and collaboration with classroom teachers when a child is exhibiting challenging behaviors, and on the verge of being expelled/suspended from a child care center.

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate and partner with classroom teachers to complete a Functional Behavior Assessment and develop a Positive Behavior Support Plan (Childcare Center)
· Work as a team with the classroom teachers to develop classroom strategies
· Use Coaching Competencies with the teachers so they are confident in implementing new strategies in the classroom
· Follow up with classroom teachers to ensure success
· Complete timely initial contacts / consultation forms
Educational Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
· Minimum 1 year experience with Birth to Five Early Intervention
